4m sheets: quote longer parts with dependable lead times
October 2026
Hyperlight now uses 4m sheets when your parts need them, automatically, with no extra steps.
What it is
Hyperlight can now quote parts that need a 4m sheet. You don’t need to select anything or change how you work. Hyperlight recognises when a 4m sheet is needed, prices the material, checks its availability and factors the right lead time into your quote.
Why we built it
After folding, 4m sheets were the most requested Hyperlight upgrade. We could have added them months ago by changing a single setting and estimating the rest, but that wouldn’t have given you a price or a date you could rely on. Larger sheets bring their own challenges: material cost, where the stock comes from, how long it takes to arrive and how the work fits into our production schedule. We waited until Hyperlight could account for all of them properly.
How to use it
There’s nothing new to learn.
- Upload your parts as normal.
- Choose your material, thickness and quantity.
- Review your quote. If your parts need a 4m sheet, Hyperlight uses one automatically, and your price and lead time reflect it.
- Place your order.
Good to know
- It’s automatic. You don’t choose the sheet size. Hyperlight decides based on your parts and our live stock and schedule.
- Lead times may differ. Some materials in 4m lengths aren’t always held in stock, and only some of our machines take 4m sheets. If either affects your order, the lead time on your quote already includes it, so the date you see is the date you can rely on.
- Maximum part size. The largest part Hyperlight can quote is 3970 × 1970mm. This is slightly smaller than the full 4000 × 2000mm sheet, to allow for up to a 30mm border.
